McKeon Predicts Delay Of Deficit Solution, Resists More Defense Cuts

House Armed Services Committee Chairman Buck McKeon (R-CA) today predicted lawmakers would postpone offering a solution to the nation's deficit problems, but he urged them to do so quickly without more defense cuts and called on White House budget officials to testify this summer about plans for sequestration under the 2011 Budget Control Act.
