House Appropriations Committee's 2013 Continuing Resolution

On Sept. 10, 2012, House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers (R-KY) introduced a six-month Continuing Resolution, a temporary funding measure designed by House and Senate leaders to avoid a pitched political battle over government spending on the eve of November elections that might result in a government shutdown at the end of September.
