House Intel Committee Audit Calls On DOD To 'Right-Size' ISR Force

The Defense Department plans to spent $27 billion through 2020 on intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities, according to a congressional audit that says the Pentagon -- which has plowed $44 billion into ISR since 2001 without regard to long-term ramifications -- should impose new scrutiny and discipline on future acquisitions.
