No Plan To Extend NGEN Continuity-Of-Services Contract Despite RFP Delay

There is no plan to extend the continuity-of-services contract with Hewlett-Packard for the Navy's legacy land-based network while the service works to award a contract for the Next Generation Enterprise Network meant to replace it, according to the program manager, although he did not rule out the possibility of needing to extend it in the future.
