Lieberman Statement On Iraq

In an Aug. 31, 2010, statement, Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee Chairman Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) applauds President Obama for achieving the Iraq troop withdrawal milestone, but urges "Congress provide critical funding for the Iraqi Security Forces and for the American civilian presence in Iraq that will be assuming a growing share of responsibility there as the military steps back."
