USAF Doubles Down On Northrop's BACN With Follow-On Deals Worth $783M

The Air Force is doubling down on a Northrop Grumman airborne communications relay project launched in 2009 to meet an urgent warfighting need, moving ahead with a sole-source contract worth up to $782.5 million that could raise the total value of the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node program to $1.6 billion.
