X-Band Radar Contract

The Missile Defense Agency has awarded a $248 million option to Raytheon to continue "performing operation and sustainment services for the X-Band Radar efforts in support of the MDA Sensors Program," according to an agency statement. Work on the contract will be performed during the entirety of fiscal year 2013. "Research, development, test and evaluation, and operations & maintenance funds will be used to fund this effort," the statement adds.
