Missile Defense Advisers

The Pentagon is renewing the charter for the Missile Defense Avisory Committee, according to an Aug. 28 Federal Register notice. The committee's purpose is to provide "independent advice and recommendations on all matters relating to missile defense, including system development, technology, program maturity and readiness of configurations for the Ballistic Missile Defense System," the announcement reads.
