Flying Away

Rebecca Grant, long-time director of the Mitchell Institute for Airpower Studies, this week said she would be stepping down and standing up a new airpower studies institute known as the Washington Security Forum. Grant told Inside the Air Force about her plans to start the forum on Jan. 17. Grant said Air Force Association leadership made the decision to eliminate her director position based on "internal budget issues."
