C-17 GISP Terms Impacted By End Of Air Force Buy, Engine Competition

A $2 billion contract recently awarded to Boeing for C-17 sustainment will cover all labor activities for the next five years, but the Air Force's existing contract with the company for C-17 materials expires sooner than that, forcing a separate negotiation between the two parties for materials coverage at the back end of that five-year window.
