Navy Interested In JLENS Capability But Unable To Procure System

Raytheon proved in an Army- and Navy-funded demonstration that its Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System (JLENS) could operate with existing Navy networks and could protect ships against anti-ship cruise missiles, but the Navy is not in the position to procure JLENS in the near-term, an official said.
