A Man with a Plan

The new chief of Naval Air Systems Command announced recently that he plans to unveil an action plan and a long-term strategy for the organization in the coming months. Vice Adm. David Dunaway, who officially took charge of NAVAIR Sept. 20, said in a "NAVAIR Commander's Intent" document dated Sept. 24 that later this year he will release an action plan called "Commander's Guidance" that lays out specific objectives, and then early next year he will release "NAVAIR's Long-Term Strategy" to paint a picture of future challenges and guide investment.
