Marine Corps Trains First Certified F-35B Instructor Pilot At Eglin

The Marine Corps has trained its first certified instructor pilot for the F-35B short-takeoff, vertical-landing variant of the Joint Strike Fighter as the service prepares to train its first batch of pilots later this year at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, the commanding officer of the training squadron told Inside the Navy last week.
