The spat over the Army's allegedly flawed Distributed Common Ground System, an intelligence software suite, and an allegedly more-capable application made by Palantir reached a milestone last week as Army documents related to the case were due to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. One day after the deadline -- which was 5 p.m. on Aug. 15 -- all a committee spokeswoman would say was that panel staff was "in the process" of receiving a Defense Department response.
