OMB Signals Plans To Provide Preliminary Sequestration Guidance

On the eve of a scheduled showdown between Obama administration officials and House Republicans on the thorny issue of sequestration, the White House Office of Management and Budget on Tuesday advised the Pentagon -- and other executive branch agencies -- that guidance on how to implement potential sequestration spending cuts is forthcoming.
